Yael Swica MD
Dr. Swica is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Family Medicine at Columbia University/New York-Presbyterian Hospital and teaches and supervises medical students and residents in Family Medicine at Columbia.
After graduating from Albany Medical College, she completed an internship in Internal Medicine at Montefiore Hospital, Albert Einstein College of Medicine, a residency in Family Medicine at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University, and then fellowships in Family Planning and Menopause and Women’s Health, both in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Columbia.
Dr. Swica also has a degree in Public Health in Epidemiology from the Mailman School of Public Health at Columbia University. She is a graduate of the Bronx High School of Science as well as Columbia College, Columbia University, where she majored in Philosophy, and has a Masters in Theological Studies from the Harvard Divinity School, Harvard University.
She is a member of the North American Menopause Society, the Women’s Mental Health Consortium, the Society of Family Planning, and is also a member of the clinical team at the Center for Menopause here in New York City.
